Project Blinkenlighs came to life in 2001 with the original Blinkenlights installation at Haus des Lehrers, Alexanderplatz in Berlin, Germany. The name of this light installation gave the title to the project itself and serves as a brand for all our future activities. In 2002 Project Blinkenlights moved to Paris to put up the Arcade light installation at Bibliothèque nationale de France.
